There is a point in a runner's history where the number on the entry form stops causing anxiety. Not because it got easier, but because it has been survived enough times to lose its power.

Four versions of this phrase exist in the range — this one, a second arrangement, and a men's and women's cut. All four share the same wording and the same four widths.

Long-distance medals are frequently heavier than they look, particularly from events over 50 km. The 60 and 75 cm versions are cut from 3 mm steel for that reason.

This medal hanger is produced in the widths below. If you are buying it as a gift, size on the collection they already have rather than on what looks right on the wall.

The steel, and why it matters

Every medal display in the range is AISI 304 — the same grade used for kitchen surfaces and marine fittings — at 2.5-3 mm depending on width. It doesn't rust, doesn't chip, and doesn't need looking after.

The bar is continuous. That's the whole difference from a hook rack: hooks give you a fixed count, a rail gives you a length.

Mounting

Everything is in the box: stainless standoffs, screws, wall plugs and a paper template. Mark through the template, drill, done — about ten minutes.

When it fills up

A second unit mounts flush against the first, so the wall still reads as one piece rather than two things hung near each other. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.
