The second version of the same idea
Both designs say the same thing. This one arranges it differently, with the lettering spread wider across the steel, which suits the 60 and 75 cm sizes better than the first does.
If the display is going somewhere it will be seen from across a room — a hallway, a gym, a clubhouse — this is the one that still reads at five metres. If it is going above a desk, the other one is the better cut.
Wider lettering means the design carries a full rail without looking crowded, which is the practical reason to choose this version over the first at 60 and 75 cm.
This medal hanger is produced in the widths below. If you are buying it as a gift, size on the collection they already have rather than on what looks right on the wall.
Size & capacity
| Size | Steel | 1 rail | 2 rails | 3 rails |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 35 x 8 cm | 2.5 mm | 8-12 | 15-22 | 20-30 |
| 45 x 8 cm | 2.5 mm | 13-20 | 24-36 | 34-50 |
| 60 x 11 cm | 3 mm | 21-30 | 38-55 | 55-75 |
| 75 x 11.5 cm | 3 mm | 31-45 | 55-80 | 75-110 |
Not sure which size?
At 35 cm the wide lettering leaves less room than the other version. Pick V1 if you want the small size.
Made from one sheet, not assembled from parts
The medal holder is laser-cut from a single piece of AISI 304 stainless steel, 2.5-3 mm thick depending on the width. Nothing welded on, nothing to come loose.
Medals hang on a continuous rail rather than individual hooks, so you're limited by the width of the bar and nothing else.
Mounting
Everything is in the box: stainless standoffs, screws, wall plugs and a paper template. Mark through the template, drill, done — about ten minutes.
Running out of room
Buy a second and line it up directly beneath or beside this one — the proportions are designed so a pair looks intentional. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.
Getting it to you
This medal holder is made to order in the EU and on its way within 3–5 working days, with fourteen days to send it back if it isn't right.
