Crew medals and solo medals in the same place

Dance competitions award both, and the two usually get separated — the crew ones end up somewhere communal, the solo ones in a bedroom drawer. Hung together they make more sense as a record.

Most dancers competing seriously are between nine and eighteen, so this is generally a present. Size for the squad they are in now, not for the medals in the bag.

Crew medals often arrive several at a time from one competition. They look best grouped by event rather than hung strictly in date order.

Below are the widths this design is cut in. The honest advice for a gift is to size on the drawer, not on the wall.

Grouping by competition uses more rail than hanging tight. Add a size.

Made from one sheet, not assembled from parts

The medal holder is laser-cut from a single piece of AISI 304 stainless steel, 2.5-3 mm thick depending on the width. Nothing welded on, nothing to come loose.

Medals hang on a continuous rail rather than individual hooks, so you're limited by the width of the bar and nothing else.

Installation

Supplied with everything needed except a drill: standoffs, fixings and a full-size paper template. The standoffs set it off the wall slightly, which is what makes the shadow underneath.

After the first one is full

They're made to pair. A second unit sits flush against the first and the run reads as a single display. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.

Delivery

Every medal display is cut and finished in our own workshop and dispatched within 3–5 working days. Returns accepted for fourteen days.
