The most honest sentence in the range, and the one least about sport. People who start training in their thirties or forties usually discover the change is not physical — it is that they have become somebody who does difficult things on purpose.

The medals are the receipts for that, which is a better reason to hang them than the results printed on them. Four widths, AISI 304 stainless steel, continuous rail.

Bought most often by the athlete for themselves, and usually two or three years into the habit rather than at the start of it.

These are the sizes available. If it is a present and you are guessing, guess upwards — a display that is slightly too big still looks right.

Steel, not sheet metal with paint on it

The whole medal display is one panel of AISI 304 stainless steel (V2A / 1.4301), 2.5-3 mm thick according to width. Cheap racks are thin painted steel and the paint goes first, usually at a corner.

The medals hang from a continuous rail, which is the reason a full display still looks even rather than bunched around fixed points.

Putting it up

The standoffs hold it a centimetre off the wall, which is what gives the shadow line. Template, screws and plugs are included; you need a drill and ten minutes.

Adding a second one

Most people eventually do. Mounted directly under or beside the first, the pair reads as a single wall rather than two separate displays. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.
