Bling is what runners actually call them
Nobody in a running club says medal. They say bling, usually about a race that gave out something enormous and slightly ridiculous, which is half the reason for entering it in the first place.
So the wording here is the sport's own. The neutral version of the three, without a figure, which makes it the safe choice when buying for someone whose taste you are not certain about.
The neutral version has no figure on it, which makes it the one to choose when the display is going somewhere shared — a hallway, an office, a club room.
This medal hanger is produced in the widths below. If you are buying it as a gift, size on the collection they already have rather than on what looks right on the wall.
Size & capacity
| Size | Steel | 1 rail | 2 rails | 3 rails |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 35 x 8 cm | 2.5 mm | 8-12 | 15-22 | 20-30 |
| 45 x 8 cm | 2.5 mm | 13-20 | 24-36 | 34-50 |
| 60 x 11 cm | 3 mm | 21-30 | 38-55 | 55-75 |
| 75 x 11.5 cm | 3 mm | 31-45 | 55-80 | 75-110 |
Not sure which size?
Race bling runs large. Whatever the capacity table says, assume slightly fewer.
Made from one sheet, not assembled from parts
The medal holder is laser-cut from a single piece of AISI 304 stainless steel, 2.5-3 mm thick depending on the width. Nothing welded on, nothing to come loose.
Medals hang on a continuous rail rather than individual hooks, so you're limited by the width of the bar and nothing else.
Mounting
Everything is in the box: stainless standoffs, screws, wall plugs and a paper template. Mark through the template, drill, done — about ten minutes.
Running out of room
Buy a second and line it up directly beneath or beside this one — the proportions are designed so a pair looks intentional. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.
Getting it to you
This medal holder is made to order in the EU and on its way within 3–5 working days, with fourteen days to send it back if it isn't right.
